  • Terms and Conditions for Catering Services Provided by HAP Cafe, Melbourne, Australia.

    1. Booking and Confirmation: Payment in full is necessary to secure the booking for catering services.

    2. Consumption Requirement: All products must be consumed within three (3) hours from the delivery of a takeaway box order, in line with government rules and regulations. Consumption of said products beyond the said period shall be at your own risk. HAP Cafe shall not be liable for any resulting damage, injury or sickness whatsoever, whether remote or proximate, for failure to consume orders within three (3) hours of delivery, or for the customer’s failure to take health, safety and hygienic measures into consideration when consuming food products.

    3. Allergens: Allergens may be present in our products; however, we are committed to providing clear information and taking necessary precautions to address allergen concerns.

    4. Delivery Terms: Deliveries will be between 9am-4pm on the agreed delivery date, unless previously discussed. Once the box has been delivered, it is no longer our responsibility. Please try to ensure a recipient is home to receive the delivery.

    5. Stock Shortage: In the event of stock shortages, a product of equal or higher value may be substituted for the original product.

    6. Cancellation and Refund Policy: Any box order that has been fully paid for is non-refundable. You will be given a store credit to use from 28 days of payment date UNLESS cancellation occurred within 72 hours of agreed delivery date, in which case your payment will be forfeited.

    7. Event Logistics: The client is responsible for providing access to the venue and any necessary permits for catering services. HAP café will coordinate with the client and other vendors for a smooth setup and breakdown of catering equipment.

    8. Licenses and Permits: HAP café will ensure compliance with all necessary licenses and permits for catering services. The client is responsible for obtaining any event-related permits required by local authorities.

    9. Food Safety and Quality Assurance: HAP café commits too adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and maintaining high standards of food safety. Ingredient sourcing and food handling practices are conducted in accordance with Australian food safety standards.

    10. Insurance and Liability: HAP café carries liability insurance, and the client agrees to hold HAP café harmless for any liabilities arising from the event.

    11. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their control.

    12. Client Responsibilities: The client is responsible for providing accurate event details and ensuring cooperation with HAP café for a successful event.

    13. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved through mediation, and if necessary, arbitration.

    By engaging our catering services, the client agrees to these terms and conditions. These terms are subject to change with notice.
